Pink & Brown + White Ostrich Feathers = STUNNING!

When Kisha came to us she knew she wanted something romantic with a little twist. Boy did we add a twist but we will get to that in just a bit. We started the planning like we always do with invitations. We had a lot of ideas we wanted to try out to get that romantic feel that Kisha was going for. We made 7 different samples for her to choose from and when all was said and done ended up using a beautiful pearlized pink paper on a rich brown background layered with pink and brown ribbons, a shimmering round buckle with a little white feather tucked inside. Sounds romantic huh? For her programs and reserve signage we used the same concept and pearlized paper to carry the theme.

For the flowers we decided on beautiful white roses, what could be more romantic than that?  It was the only flower we used, the effect was elegant and classic. For Kisha’s bouquet we added a little whimsy with a pink satin ribbon wrapped around the stem with a stunning pearl and crystal accent.

At the ceremony we used the white roses with the addition of white ostrich feathers to adorn the massive 7 candle candelabras and unity candle stand.  We did a custom unity candle wrap with the same ribbons and buckle we used on the invitations.  The custom isle markers were iron stands with a huge ball of ostrich feathers with the bride and groom’s custom logo.

We also used custom signs at the church to denote the correct side for the bride and groom. This added that little extra touch to the space. We are all about the little extras!

Kisha is truly a bride after our own hearts. :) She wanted things different and unique! She didn’t want her bridesmaids carrying a bouquet, she wanted something a little extra. We found beautiful brown clutches with crystal buckles that we adorned with the white ostrich feathers and satin ribbons.  The feathers and ribbons are removable so they can use the clutch long after the wedding. It served as their “bouquet”  and one of their attendants gifts. They were absolutely beautiful against the pink dresses the attendants wore.

She also used a custom banner that we hand painted. Our “Here Comes the Bride / Mr. & Mrs.” banner is yet another way to add that unique feel to your wedding. We can do a custom one with your logo and names or we rent the one pictured below to any of our brides.

At the reception we wanted to carry that romantic feel but step it up a bit and make it a little more exciting. Remember that twist I was telling you about? Que the ostrich feathers and lighted vases! These created an electrifying feel when you walked into the reception. They said, come on in and lets party the night away! And let me tell you, they partied!

We used rich brown table linens with pink napkins to add a little more pop of color. The chairs were adorned with ivory chair covers with a pink satin ribbon that crisscrossed up the back of the chair. On the sweetheart table we used a custom brown and pink overlay to tie everything together.

For Kisha’s cake she went with a soft pink that had hand piped accents with a rich brown ribbon, beautiful flowers and stunning crystal accents. It was very romantic! And let me just say that the Groom, Troy, was always so nice and I liked him from the beginning but when I saw his cake I knew he was my kind of guy! GO TEXANS!

All in all it truly was a romantic evening! Our stunning Bride and Groom’s family and friends were so much fun to spend the day with and our happy couple were two of the sweetest people we have ever had the pleasure of working with. Thank you Kisha and Troy for allowing us the great pleasure of making your day everything that you dreamed.  Here is to a happy and healthy life together Mr. & Mrs. Parker!

Monique & Kevin – Chic Purple & Pewter Wedding

Monique contacted me at the end of 2009 for a consultation for her 2011 wedding. During that initial consultation, her wedding color was red with the possible accent of black & white damask. I believe at that time, she had just started thinking about her wedding and wasn’t sure what her desires were for the wedding. I gathered a hint of hesitation on her color selection and told her because we had plenty of time to plan the wedding, she should choose a color that she really liked. Fast forward about 8 months later and Monique had chosen a new color scheme; black, white and teal/turquoise blue. At this point, we still couldn’t pin down the look for her wedding. The reception hall was not booked yet and the wedding date was moved from the beginning of 2011 to May 2011.

In October 2010, Monique and I had another consultation. This time, her new color scheme was purple and pewter. This color combination has been really popular this year, and righfully so. I love all the shades of purple. In fact, my own wedding color in 2002 was purple & lavendar. So I was excited at her new and final color choice :) This was the inspiration board that she sent me.

During this consultation, Monique wasn’t sure what she wanted to do in regards to centerpieces and decor for the reception hall (Bridge City Community Center). She loves bling and wanted to incorporate it into the design. Who doesn’t love bling? When the meeting was over, she left most of the decisions on the details of the flower selection & decor to me.

Shortly after my brother’s December 2010 wedding, we met once more to finalize the details of the wedding. Time was running out for us. I showed her the rhinestone encrusted cake stand that we built and she quickly said “Yes to the Stand”. In addition, I showed her a crystal chandelier table centerpiece that I ordered for my brother’s wedding and she fell in love with it. I used these chandelier centerpieces on every other table. The other tables had centerpieces of flowers with different shades of purple arranged in a cube glass vase. At the end of our consultation, I finally saw a glimpse of excitement in her eyes because she started to see everything come together.

The centerpieces were comprised of purple and green hydrangeas, tulips, stocks, Ocean Song and Cool Water roses, purple and lavendar lisianthus, mini calla lilies and purple sweet peas. The use of the 3 feet crystal chandeliers lamps brought beautiful height of bling for the happy bride. And the cake stand was absolutely shimmering against the candles and purple uplights that we provided.

We decided to use pewter pintuck table linens for the guest tables and decked the cake table with a plum pintuck linen.

The bride’s bouquet was comprised of the same flowers that were used in the centerpieces. For the bridesmaids bouquets, I decided to incorporate white roses and hydrangeas for some contrast against their purple dresses. I loved how the bouquets turned out. For the flowergirl, I made a pomander ball of plum buttons. We flanked the ceremony aisles with the centerpieces placed on white columns. After the ceremony, the centerpieces were transported to the reception hall.

In addition to the flowers and linens, I provided purple uplighting for the venue in additon to draping the area behind the sign-in table, cake table and the beautiful candy buffet by Glenda Little of Dressy Designs. The sign-in table was set against the wall that led directly to the women’s restroom. As a last minute decision, we draped the back and sides of the table to provide a “screen” between the area and restroom. I also made a tall arrangement to set on the sign-in table with the “left over” flowers. It made a wonderful addition to the table, especially with some simple glass vase arrangements flanking either side of the arrangement. The purple uplighting completely transformed the venue, making it chic and elegant.

The brilliant candy buffet that Glenda made for the couple was absolutely gorgeous. It was decked out with it’s own mini uplights, various delicious candy treats and candy apples. And did I mentioned, it was completely blinged out. The table was absolutely eye candy for me, literally. If anyone is considering doing a candy buffet for their event or need stationery products, Glenda should be contacted. You will not be disappointed.

Glenda also made the beautiful wedding invitations and programs for the wedding couple. I love the choice of iridescent papers that were used to make the invitations. They coordinated perfectly with the colors of the wedding. I also love how the couple’s initials were intertwined together to create a unique monogram. Even the invitations had bling on them. Glenda also provided the programs that were passed out during the wedding ceremony.

Monique and Kevin were so happy on their wedding day. They were so pleased with all of the vendors that provided services for their special day. When we returned around 11:30 pm to take down the decorations, the party was still going on strong. Everyone was dancing the night away :)

As I close out on this blog entry, I would like to thank Michelle Randall of MeShell’s Wedding Bells and her husband, Jason, for assisting us with the set up and take-down of the wedding. It was not her responsibility to help us but she did it anyway. I was completely exhausted from the lack of sleep the night before and we had to head to Houston for our flight to Cozumel immediately after we took down the decorations. Needless to say, I was very grateful that Michelle and Jason was there to lend a helping hand. If you are in need of a Wedding Day Coordinator, she’s your woman.

I’ll leave you with this testimonial that I received from Monique upon my return from my vacation:

Stephanie, I just want to say thank-you soooo much for such a beautiful and amazing wedding. I know in the beginning I envisioned what I wanted and I don’t think I did such a good job explaining it but somehow you knew and really made it more beautiful then I could have ever imagined. It was chic, elegant, clean-lined and the colors just blended so well together. Your flower arrangements and bouquets were gorgeous. Oh and let’s not forget about the church, it was perfect. Thanks so much for being patient and giving me my dream wedding!

Monique Maxfield

This is the reason why I love what I do. Thank you Duy Khang Photography and Monique for sharing these wonderful photos with me.

All Things Bright & Beautiful

Jen & Clint Walker’s June 2011 wedding was filled with all things bright and beautiful. This delightful couple were so much fun from the start. Their love story is a precious one. Clint is a local Southeast Texan, and Jen is a transplant from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania!

Jen’s only request was for her wedding to be bright and cheery, which suits her personality perfectly. They both have a love of snapdragons, and Jen loves lilies and gerbera daisies. Throw in a love of burnt orange, and with that we began our design work for her bridal flowers, ceremony decor, and reception decor!

The ceremony was at First United Methodist Church, Port Neches, Texas (mine and Clint’s home church!). The bride carried a large bouquet of Sunset and Freedom lilies; bright yellow, orange, and pink gerbera daisies; green pompoms and hypericum; and snapdragons. The bridesmaids carried smaller bouquets of the Sunset lilies surrounded by Orange Mango callas. Their bouquets were stunning against their turquoise dresses.  All bouquets were braided with orange ribbon and adorned with crystal buckles and dangling prisms. The groom’s and groomsmen’s boutonnieres were a single calla with a sprig of green hypericum. Clint’s had an added sprig of snapdragon.

The aisle was showcased with four large bouquets of Jen’s flowers with orange streamers and dangling crystals. The chancel was flanked with two large urn and candle arrangements.  During the service Jen and Clint stepped to a pedestal which featured three monogrammed mini banners and their sand ceremony vessels.

The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Nederland, Texas. The tables were draped with brown satin floor-length cloths and accented with scarves and runners of turquoise.  Jen’s and Clint’s table feature an extra-large topiary of Jen’s favorite flowers. Her bridal party’s two reserved tables were centered with bronze lanterns and a triple arrangement of yellow, green, and hot pink. Two areas of the reception were criss-crosses of banquet tables centered with a small round table and a large topiary of Jen’s gerbera daisies. Other tables had topiaries and arched candelabras. All were draped with crystal strands. The DJ’s lighting really enhanced the decor!

The adorable wedding cakes by Debbie LaRue were on large round tables with turquoise satin linens accented with black runners and scarves.  The B & B Elegant Decor original design backdrop was stunning behind the cake tables.  A black drape framed the angled backdrop of bamboo, curly willow, and crystal strands.

An Elegant Summer Affair

What a joy it was to work with Mindy & Kevin Hickman on their June 2011 wedding. I think we had our first consultation in November 2010, and after that most of our communication was via email since the bride and groom live in Atlanta, Georgia! The ceremony took place in Mindy’s home church, the United Methodist Temple, in Port Arthur, Texas. The reception followed at the elegant John Gray Reception Center on 8th floor of the John Gray Library, Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas.

Mindy knew what she wanted–for her wedding and reception to say “Summer!” We did that with beautiful ivory and pale yellow roses, green lisianthus, hydrangeas, and stock. Lemon fresh candles, large floral arrangements, aisle posies, and lots of crystal strands completed the look.

The bride carried a bouquet of ivory and pale yellow roses, green lisianthus, freesia, and sweet pea. Her bridesmaids carried smaller bouquets which were perfect against their apple green bridesmaids’ dresses.  All bouquets were adorned with pearl accents, crystal buckles and dangling prisms. The men’s boutonnieres of green lisianthus really popped against their black tuxes.

The reception was filled with vases of fresh cut lemons and limes topped with arrangements of Mindy’s flowers.  Each of the three main areas of the reception was centered with a large candelabra draped with crystal strands and prisms. Several tables were adorned with delicate topiaries, and others featured smaller silver and crystal candelabras.

National Stationery Show ~ New York City

Let me just start out buy saying, I LOVE NEW YORK CITY!!!!!!  The energy is electrifying, the architecture is fabulous, the food is delicious and despite all the rumors the people are actually really nice.  We had a super busy schedule trying to fit in over 2,000 vendors at the National Stationery Show and get some sight seeing done all in one week.  It was exhausting and amazing!

We started the week off on Sunday with the opening day of the show. We have been once before so we weren’t going at it blindly but it was still overwhelming.

Their was so much to look at and so much to do. Sensory overload! I took well over a 1,000 pictures of ideas and  inspirations. Check out these dresses that are made entirely out of paper goods from the vendors of the show. Aren’t they beautiful!

Our goal this time was to find new and different vendors to bring back home to you and boy did we find them. We have some fabulous new paper and ribbon lines that we can’t wait to get the shipments in and start experimenting with.  We also have some new design programs and equipment that will let us do things that we have only dreamed about. On top of all of that we have some stunning new products on order that will turn your wedding reception from beautiful to truly amazing. I am getting excited all over again just talking about it!

We spent the first 3 days intensely dissecting all of the vendors and picking and choosing the best for you. On day 4 we decided it was time for a little sight seeing. Lets just say we only thought the show was inspiring. The city was breathtaking despite the grey skies and heavy rain the entire week. I kept finding myself stopping dead in my tracks to just stare at everything going on around me.  Have I mentioned sensory overload?!  If you can’t find inspiration in NYC then you can’t find it anywhere.

The colors were amazing, everywhere I turned I would find something new. We would be hustling down the street and then all of a sudden we would find a little park tucked between the buildings with some of the most beautiful flowers.  They were a little reminder to just slow down and enjoy yourself.

The architecture was something I have never seen before.  Building after building took my breath away. It was a true testament to the saying, “They don’t make things the was they used to.”

We would look at the beautiful carvings on a building and say to each other, how can we get that pattern on paper?  A lot of our new stuff will allow us to do just that.

Here is a little inspiration of the yummy variety as well. Candy and shoes, what more could a girl ask for. We have some great new ideas for candy and dessert bars and some new vendor contacts.

Did I mention shoes?! New York knows how to do shoes, look at these lovely creations.  Everything was one of a kind and that is what we strive for with our clients, unique and personal.

Inspiration can come from anywhere. We get it from fabrics and glassware to nature and architecture.  Most of our designs start with one of us snapping a picture with our phones and sending it to each other with the message, our inspiration, start designing.   It has come from New York and Houston as well as the dollar isle at Target (true, I promise). Next time you see something you love, take a picture! It can be a color that you like or a pattern that is different and unique.  Anything to get the creative juices flowing.

And a trip to New York is not complete without a visit to the Fashion District. As we walked down the street we would come across these plaques in the sidewalk as a tribute to all of the famous designers who made fashion what it is today. Inspired yet?

I will end the post with a few pictures of us enjoying ourselves. We really had a blast finding new things for all of our brides. And the yellow ponchos are proof of the nasty rain we endured just for you! :)

Invitation Overload

Wedding season is in full swing and us along with all of our vendor friends are running on pure adrenaline at this point! But we wouldn’t have it any other way! :)   I just wanted to take a minute to post just a few of the invitations we have been working hard on lately.  It’s going to be short and sweet because we have some printing and assembling to do!

First up…. a beautiful set of purple and silver invitations.  Purple is a HOT color for weddings right now.  These invitations are so elegant and we can’t wait to show off everything we have been working on for the happy couple’s big day this June! So don’t forget to look for that post next month!

Up next is a stunning invitation featuring green and you guessed it, purple! We added a little shimmer with a beautiful buckle and their is not much else to say. The invitations speak for themselves.

We also have things for Mother’s of the Groom. We have done invitations for rehearsal dinners, engagement parties and announcements. This next group is a set of announcements we did for the Groom’s parents to send out after the wedding announcing their son’s marriage. This is a  great idea when you are having a small wedding but still want everyone to know of your marriage.

We are not just limited to English invitations, we have a Spanish translator on staff full time!  Below are a set of Spanish invitations we did for a lovely couple.   In the next month or so we are also going to work with Stephanie of  La Belle Fleur to get some Vietnamese invitation samples.

We also do everything from shower and birthday party invitations to baby announcements. Here is a set of funky graduation invitations we did for one of the sweetest seniors we know.  She wanted something different and unique that reflects her personality.  I think we nailed it!

We also had the great pleasure of designing invitations for Ashley of southeasttexasweddings.com (aka, this site!) We did the invitations for her upcoming vendor networking social.

I told you it would be short and sweet but I have to run.  We have 3 sets of invitations to get out this week on top of packing for our big trip!  Three members of our staff plus one of our roadies are heading to NEW YORK CITY for the National Stationery Show! We can’t wait to see all of the new products and bring them back home to you! We are always looking for new ideas and creations so I am sure this will be brain overload for us but we can’t wait!  We hope you have a great week!

Industrial Chic Wedding Decor Ideas photography by Bellafotografica and a few How-To’s

Bringing you another “Whimsical” post!
Those that know me personally know I am highly motivated, and that I have serious inability to sit still. Oh and I like to stretch the boundaries of creativity…slightly

I feel like I grow more and more each day with ideas I want to bring to YOU, my reader.  I love love love rackin my brain for new ways to use something uncoventionally or just plain different. I enjoy coming up with ideas that could or could not be accepted as interesting or just plain pretty, this next post is definately a gamble!

That being said…enter the “Indutrial Chic Shoot”

I absolutely adore how this came together… I started on an aisle at Lowe’s,  the aisle with the pipe fittings, and you better believe I had a taper candle in my purse ready and waiting to measure for the correct size of pipe to put together a couple of candlesticks!

After several minutes of digging through those small boxes to find the perfect pieces to fit together, my candlesticks were two things…custom and unique!

Custom candlestick out of pipes and fittings

After the the piping aisle…I skipped on over to lumber area (bet your wondering if I really skipped) There I found 3.5 inch by 4ft planks of wood, I actually laid them out on the ground to figure out the width I wanted because I wanted to build the table top…I knew that I wanted to “beat up” the wood and then stain it, but I still needed some kind of metal to be incorporated for that “industrial” story I wanted to tell…so from the lumber section, I found the aisle with the galvenized metal sheets which also had some metal brackets of sorts, that I would use metal screws and secure the ends fastening the pieces of wood together lenthwise…

Custom industrial tabletop

For the legs of the table, I wanted metal sawhorses, which would most definately attribute to my “outside the box” look…

To accompany the table set-up I wanted to have something incorporating chalkboard paint! I have always wanted an excuse to buy some! For the “seating chart” I took a piece of plywood 2ft X 4ft and simply painted it with chalkboard paint (FYI the paint is not cheap!) After several coats and drying time, I needed a frame, just simple pieces of wood I cute the edges down and secured with the same heavy bulky screws as the table!

For the floral “containers” I found some silver paint cans and air conditioning ducts like $3 a piece!

Industrial floral containers!

To tie in with the chalkboard seating chart, I painted some wood chargers with the paint and wrote a “guest” name and topped with a clear glass plate, the glasses also incorporated the same paint!

Chalkboard paint makes its way to dinnerware

Below are some more of my favorites from Allen’s beautiful photography!

Below are my snapsnots in “creating” phase!

Hope you have enjoyed a different way to look at ordinary objects, I hope the next time you head to your favorite home improvemement store you get a little spark of creativity!

Destination, Bahamas!

I am probably the latest bloomer in the blogging world, but I thought the best way to start would be to blog my own wonderful wedding experience!! :) I am so excited to share too. First of all I have to gush at how my husband proposed. I collect turtles, yes turtles and I have collected them since I was given a stuffed turtle when I was about 6 or so.  BUT, anyway so I was having a terrible day and my on our way to dinner, before we left our house he pulled me into the den where I had an entire china cabinet full of turtles and pictures of my family. He told me he bought me something and asked me to look in the cabinet. Well, I of course found the new addition in the cabinet. It was sitting in front of my mothers picture. I picked up and just loved it! It was beautiful! Before I put it back, he told me to open it. Well, of course I opened it and stared at the engraving on the inside for what felt like forever, and when I looked up, Jason was down on one knee holding a ring. I didn’t even answer him I just grabbed the ring and kissed him. It wasn’t until when we were driving to dinner that I just kind of yelled yessss! He said what?? Haha I forgot to answer you! :) Then I asked him why he proposed in the den, and he said because I wanted your mom to see it.

After A LOT of thought about planning our wedding, Jason and I decided we just wanted to have an intimate ceremony somewhere far away!! So we decided on the Bahamas! My colors were simple, white and yellow! I loved it! All I wanted was for my immediate family there and my father to walk me down the aisle! I couldn’t have asked for anything more! The plane ride there was the first plane ride I had ever been on! It was an incredible journey!!! And just FYI, be sure you wear some Soon-to-be or newlywed shirts on the plane! Free champagne or alcohol may be offered!! :)

YAY BAHAMAS!!!

We decided to get married on a pier overlooking the beautiful Caribbean waters!! It was so windy that it completely dried my eyes out when they were trying to cry during the ceremony! And I loved every minute of it! We said our “I Do’s” and I felt an overwhelming emotion of calmness. I knew right then and there that the man I just said “I Do” to was my best friend, my protector, my dream come true! This day is a day I want to live again and again because it was by far the most incredible day of my life!

We got married at Sandals Royal Bahamian on February 4th, 2009 at 4:00 p.m.! Sandals Resort was an amazing resort and I recommend it to anyone thinking of a destination wedding. The coordinators on-site were friendly, informational, and calming. Our resort photographer captured some amazing memories for us. We stayed 11 days at the resort. Arrived on the 1st (super bowl Sunday), married on the 4th, and honeymooned until the 11th! We got to experience so much and spend the beginning of our life as a married couple right where we said “I Do”. Which we went and visited before we left and made a promise that we would one day stand in that exact same spot again! I can’t wait! :)

Plum + Silver with a Little Turquoise Mixed In = Stunning Wedding!!!

One of the first things we do with a new bride is just sit and talk.  We like to find out a little about their personality and taste.  We like to know their comfort level on being just a little bit daring, and we like to make new friends, because lets face it, we are going to be bugging the heck out of you until your big day!  :) We spent many many months with Brittney and her mom Tammy planning the wedding.

Off the bat she knew she wanted a deep plum and silver as her wedding colors.  She wanted elegance and a little lot of sparkle.  She quickly stated that blue was Chad’s favorite color so we decided to add a little punch with some turquoise!

We start most of our wedding planning adventures with invitations, they are a good way to play with different ideas, designs and colors to create that feel that you want on your day.  Brittney decided on a beautiful deep purple and silver satin ribbon on a champagne paper with plum and silver lettering. She chose a monogram that perfectly combines a little bit of traditional with her modern flare. The results were a classic and stunning invitation that was just a hint of what was to come.

Salenga/Womack Invitation by K & K Designs

We took the monogram that we designed and infused it into the entire wedding. We created programs, a custom embroidered ring bearer pillow, reserved table signs and candy bar labels all using the couples logo.

For the flowers Brittney wanted something simple yet sophisticated and elegant. We went with all white florals with the exception of the boutonnieres and corsages where we added a beautiful punch of color with dark purple calla lilies.  We used lush bunches of white hydrangeas on top of the pew markers and candelabras and for the reception we created a lot of drama with 5 foot tall curly willow with a neck of white roses at the opening of the vase. The height of the arrangements drew your eye up, which was needed with the 20 foot ceiling of the venue,  and really filled the space stunningly.

For the linens we went with ivory table cloths and chair covers on long banquet tables to keep that elegant sophistication going and added big pops of color with alternating plum and turquoise chair ties and table runners that met at the middle of the tables and intertwined representing the joining together as Husband and Wife. The fabric that we used had a metallic threading and that with the twinkling candles added yet another touch of sparkle that Brittney wanted.

We used purple lighting to flood the walls of the venue with lots of color and lighted branches on the cocktail tables around the dance floor to bring the whole thing together. The look was simply breathtaking.

Along with the lighting we worked with JPL Entertainment on a custom logo that was lighted onto the dance floor. We also needed something for the guest to do while waiting for the bridal party to take pictures. So along with cocktails and appetizers we had a photo booth set up so you could go and put on a cute hat and make funny faces for the camera.  At the end of the night JPL created a photo album with all of the pictures and written greetings from all of the guest and had Brittney’s Maid and Matron of Honor present it to the couple.  All of the guest had a blast in the photo booth, I highly recommend it for something fun and different.

As all of the guest partied the night away they needed something to keep their energy up so……. cue the candy bar!! We had an abundance of purple, silver and turquoise candies from chocolate covered sunflower seeds to grape gummy bears. They also included the brides heritage with some candy brought all the way from the Philippines.

This was such a fun wedding and reception! Not only were our bride and groom such a cute and fun couple but both of their families were a joy and blast to work with. Thank you Brittney and Chad along with all of the Salengas and Womacks for letting us be a part of your special day. We hope you had a blast on your honeymoon and here is to a very happy and healthy future together!

Sophistication with Style ~ Wedding Reception

Chad & Amanda enjoyed a destination wedding and then returned to Port Neches, Texas, for a wedding reception with their friends and family.  Working with Amanda and her wedding planners, Amberly Dorrell and Annie Schroeder of Paisley Park Events, was a complete joy.  We worked through several designs before Amanda settled on a free-form vase arrangement of creamy white Enchantment Lilies and purple lisianthus, my new favorite flower!
